Testing Methods of Subjective Parameters for Spatial Audio with Head Tracking
Design of new subjective tests for spatial audio with head tracking and a supporting test application.
The project studies current methods for subjective evaluation of spatial audio with head tracking. The student will analyze their limitations, propose new test procedures, and prepare a software application for verification through real subjective tests.
The scope can be adapted to the student’s experience and extended into a bachelor’s or master’s thesis.
Requirements
- Review subjective evaluation methods for spatial audio.
- Identify limitations of current procedures for head-tracked systems.
- Design a methodology and schedule for new tests.
- Implement a supporting test application.
- Validate the proposed procedure through a demonstration subjective test.
