Map-Based Visualization of Detected Acoustic Events
A responsive mapping application for live display of acoustic detectors, their status, and localized events.
The project centers on a client-side web application for an acoustic monitoring network, with an emphasis on interactive maps. Its goal is to visualize spatial-temporal data in real time, including unit deployment, operational status, and localized acoustic events.
Requirements
- Evaluate modern web mapping APIs and libraries such as Google Maps, Mapy.cz, Leaflet, and MapLibre GL.
- Design an ergonomic and responsive interface for real-time situational awareness.
- Implement a map component showing detector GPS positions and operating states.
- Visualize detected and localized events with temporal information.
- Evaluate application performance with dynamic geographic data.
